When I created this blog today, I knew what I had in mind, but could not come up with a snappy title. Hat tip to Lincoln C. for tossing out "GeekSchooling".
I've really wanted to make a blog dedicated to homeschoolers, to help them integrate technology using open source (free) resources, and also link to sites that support homeschooling. Finally, I'm making the time to do so!
We are entering our tenth year of homeschooling. I'm down to just three kids, grades 5, 8 and 11. We just graduated our first homeschooler in June. My eldest was entering her junior year when I began homeschooling, and she opted to continue in public high school.
As I maintain a Wordpress Blog here, I will link to posts that are beneficial to all, but will keep this blog for homeschool-specific posts, sites and information.
I love Wordpress, and maintain many Wordpress blogs/sites. However, after several years away from Blogger, I have to say that it's ease of use is amazing. It's good to be back!
